Yearlong students
If you are on a Student Route visa, you may travel during the validity of your visa. However, travel is only permitted outside of term time.

Single Semester students
Students on a Visitor Visa or ETA cannot leave the UK after entry to the UK (until the full study duration is completed) as stipulated by the Visa terms. If you wish to travel within the UK, you must ensure you do so outside of term time.
