The Students’ Union is an independent, student-led charity, dedicated to ensuring that every YSJ student has the best university experience possible.

Every year in March, YSJ students elect two students to become the SU Presidents. These students work full-time at the SU for one year to represent YSJ students to the University, in the city, and nationally. The Presidents are supported by a bigger team of students who work part-time with the SU: Chairs of School, Chairs of Networks, and Chair of Student Council.

Together, these students make up the Student Leadership Group. Their job is to listen to you and use what you tell them to work with the University and the SU to improve the student experience at YSJ. If you’ve got feedback or ideas to make student life even better, don’t hesitate to get in touch with them using the details below.
