Following a successful appeal against the University’s decision to withdraw a student’s studies, the Appeals and Conduct Committee (ACC) may
approve the immediate resumption of a student’s enrolment on their programme.
In exceptional cases, this may mean that a student resumes study having missed a
significant period of teaching. In cases such as this, the ACC may request that a Return to Study (RtS) meeting is arranged to put a Return to Study Plan in place for the student.
The student should expect to receive an invitation from the Programme Administration and Support Service (PASS) team by email to their University account and/or personal account mailbox.
The student will be given 3 days’ notice to attend this meeting. This will usually be held via MS Teams unless there is a reason for holding the meeting in-person.
