Turing Scheme Funding
The Turing Scheme is the UK government’s programme to provide funding for international opportunities in education and training across the world. All projects listed in this leaflet that take place between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026 are eligible for Turing funding.
Priority Group Funding
The Turing scheme prioritizes the following groups for funding:
Students with an annual household income of £35,000 or less.
Students who have caring responsibilities.
Care leavers and students who are care experienced.
Estranged students.
Please note that international students are not eligible for priority group funding.
What may I be eligible for if I am in a Turing priority group?
You will receive:
Cost of living grant (£16.00- £23.00 day rates).
Travel grant (£325.00- £1,360.00 country dependant).
Readiness to travel costs claims: such as visa, passports, insurance, and vaccines.
SEND claims: such as, solar panel charger for insulin pump, appropriate alternative accommodation.
Standard Funding
What may I be eligible for if I am not in a Turing priority group?
You will receive:
Cost of living grant (£12.00- £19.00 day rates).
SEND claims: such as, solar panel charger for insulin pump, appropriate alternative accommodation.
Turing Funding Applications
Turing funding will be allocated to students based on information disclosed during the application process.
Deadline for funding applications:
Early applications are strongly advised.
Application Deadline: January 9th 2026.
Results shared: by March 9th 2026.
