Receiving your transcript

You do not need to request your transcript, as it will be sent automatically by the Study Abroad team.

  • One copy of your physical transcript will be sent directly, via post, to your home university by the Study Abroad team.
  • You will also be sent a PDF version, via email, to your personal and YSJ email, alongside your home university.

Timeline

External verification of marks must be completed before transcripts can be finalised, which may be different than the mark approved by your module lead. Below are the approximate dates of final mark approval:

  • Semester 1 results: early-mid March
  • Transcripts sent out for semester one: approximately late March- early April*
  • Semester 2 results: mid-late July
  • Transcripts sent out for semester two: approximately early-mid April*

*If you are required to take a resit, you will receive your finalised marks and transcript at a later date.

You can find specific dates on the Academic Dates website.

 Resits timeline

If you have a resit marked, your academic transcript will be available later, once your new results have been confirmed. If you do not wish to take resits, and wish for a fail to be verified on your transcript, you must submit a case in the Student Hub online portal to let us know.

For more information on resits, please view our Help Page article entitled ‘Exchange Student Resits’.

Requesting additional transcripts

If you wish to purchase additional paper copies of your transcript, you may do so through our Registry Office. Please note there is a cost for this service.
