Enrolment email
The Student Records enrolment team (enrolment@yorksj.ac.uk) will send emails to successful applicants once the admissions team have provided confirmation. For students joining in September 2026, emails will be sent out after the results embargo has ended on 13 August 2026.
How to enrol on your programme
The enrolment process is in two parts, and you must complete both parts to be fully enrolled on your programme. Only once you're fully enrolled will you have access to University facilities, be able to collect your student ID card, and have your student loan payments initiated (where applicable) so it's important to complete it as soon as you can.
Online enrolment
This is the first part of the process, and you can begin this as soon as you receive your enrolment email. If you are an international student, you should complete the online enrolment before you arrive in the UK.
You will need to set up your IT account before you can complete the online enrolment task in e:Vision. You will receive an email from the enrolment team (enrolment@yorksj.ac.uk) with instructions on how to do this.
Please note you should allow up to 1 hour from the time you create your IT account before you are able to log into e:Vision.
If you have any issues with setting up your IT account, you can get help by visiting the IT support pages.
You may wish to refer to the Enrolment Glossary to assist you while completing the online enrolment task.
Registration
Registration takes place when you arrive on campus* and is the final stage of the enrolment process.
*If you are on a distance learning programme, the enrolment team will send you separate information about how to complete registration online.
You will receive an email from the enrolment team with details of how to complete registration and where you need to go. The process may differ depending on the type of programme you are studying and whether you are a home or an international student.
How do I complete registration?
I am a home student
Please look for an email from the enrolment team which will contain details of the times and location of your registration session. You will need to bring along a form of photo ID.
If you have applied for a student loan, we will send notification to the Student Loans Company once you have completed in person registration and you are a fully registered student.
I am an international student
As an international student, you need to complete your registration in person when you arrive in the UK. You will register at either the York or London campus, depending on where you are studying.
You must arrive on campus immediately after your arrival in the UK (and well before the final enrolment date) to complete your right-to-study checks with the Visa and Compliance team.
If you are studying at York campus, it is essential that you book an appointment. The appointment booking site will open in September. You will be sent an email with the link when it opens. Before your appointment, please make sure you have completed your online enrolment task and uploaded your photo for your ID card.
Please read the information on our International Student Registration webpage which details further helpful information.
