Refunds

You must read our current Student Financial Regulations for important information relating to refunds, as there are circumstances where we will retain an admin fee, half of a deposit payment or the full deposit payment made by students. This information is mainly found at the Appendix section of the regulation document. Please take care to read the correct Student Financial Regulations for the relevant academic year.

If you are a sponsored international student and wish to request a refund, please submit a case through the Student Hub online portal and request a refund form.

Students who are either choosing to withdraw from their course or whose withdrawal is enforced by the university must provide the Visa and Compliance team with the following evidence when returning their completed refund form:

Evidence of leaving the UK:

  • Passport entry stamp for your country; and
  • A boarding pass

If you do not receive a passport entry stamp at the point of entering your home country because you used the e-gates, then you can provide the following evidence:

  • Your flight ticket; and
  • A boarding pass

Evidence of submitting a new visa application within the UK:

  • Application submission form
  • Appointment confirmation to attend biometrics

If you would like further information or clarification on any of the above information, please submit a case in the Student Hub online portal for our Visa team to assist you further.

For any other queries relating to refunds, please submit a case in the Student Hub online portal and our Finance team may be able to assist you.
