Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)

York St John University offers students the opportunity to gain additional qualifications in Microsoft Office products. This is called Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). Microsoft Office Specialist certification is recognised worldwide as demonstrating the skills needed to get the most out of Microsoft 365 and Office 2021 applications. It is highly sought after by employers because it verifies your skills in using Microsoft Office.

The certificates demonstrate a good understanding of the workings of Office software, such as Word and Excel. The GMetrix software we use allows you to work towards taking MOS tests at your own pace alongside our study guides. You choose which exam to practice for and then take the exam at the York or London campuses.

Microsoft Office Specialist training and certification is available, for free, to students at York St John University.
