Questions about your library charges
You could receive library charges for several reasons:
- Library fines
- Replacement items, or
- Interlibrary loan renewals.
However, you can clear charges quickly and easily.
How to pay your library charges
There are two ways to pay your library charges. These are either online or in-person on the York campus.
Online
Payments can be made online using your Library Account. Just navigate to the Charges tab in your account.
In-person on the York campus
If you are on the York campus, fines can be paid in-person at the Library Services desk in Fountains.
Invoicing for overdue items
If library items are not returned within 14 days of their due date, you will be invoiced for the replacement costs and any accrued fines. You will be sent reminders and notices by email, so it is important to keep us informed of any changes to your email address or if you have any issues returning your library items.
