From September 2025, The Scholarship Plus programme will be offering additional support and opportunities for new students who are recipients of one of our YSJ Scholar Scholarships.
Eligible students will be automatically enrolled in The Scholarship Plus programme, and will be informed of upcoming events, opportunities and activities.
As part of the Scholarships Plus programme, students will be able to choose from a range of activities and opportunities that they believe will be most beneficial to them.
Examples of previous and upcoming opportunities include:
Drop-ins and socials
Employability workshops
Winter Wellness support
Budgeting workshops
Opportunity and Mobility Fund
Online micro-credentials
Internships
Discounted gym membership
Surveys and Focus groups
Scholarships Plus students are encouraged to share their feedback with the Scholarships and Bursaries Officer, so that the programme can be adapted and tailored to cohort needs.
