The Quiet Room (CP006)
Open between 9.00am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. Booking is not required at these times, but those who use the room are asked to be sensitive to other people-s needs and share the time accordingly if they are wanting a space to themselves. The Peace Garden
Situated next to the Chapel, near Cordukes. There are benches, curved paths and a water fountain.
Quiet spaces for students to study
Quiet study spaces are available in Fountains Learning Centre on every floor. There is also a Silent Floor on level 2. More information about Fountains, including a video of the physical space, can be found on our Welcome to the Library web page
Fountains openings times are:
- Ground Floor: open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- First Floor: 6.00am to 11.59pm
- Second Floor: 6.00am to 11.59pm
Between 8.00pm and 8.00am- students will need to bring their student ID card to enter the building.
