The Students Union has groups and societies specifically for disabled or neurodivergent students.

 

The Disabled Student's Network is a social support group for anyone who identifies as having any kind of disability, whether they are diagnosed or not. They run fun social events, raise awareness, and create spaces for disabled students at YSJ. They are free to join and they accept everyone. You can find out more @ysjdsn on Instagram.


Students With Autism + Neurodiversity (S.W.A.N) is a free social support group for anyone who has autism or any other neurodiverse condition. You do not need a diagnosis to join everyone is welcome! They meet on Thursday evenings and do a range of activities from games to crafts to special interest PowerPoint nights! You can find out more @s.w.a.n_YSJ on Instagram.
