I received an email about a CPW. What does this mean?
If you receive an email with the subject line Intention to Withdraw from York St John University, this means that you have either informed a member of your programme team that you wish to withdraw from your course, or you have had little or no engagement/attendance with your course in recent weeks.
Your record will be in a presumed withdrawn status, and you will have 10 days to respond to this notification with your intentions. If we do not hear from you after the 10 days, your record will be withdrawn.
Yes, I wish to withdraw
If you receive the Intention to Withdraw from York St John University email and do wish to withdraw from your course, you will need to log into e:Vision and submit a withdrawal request.
No, I do not wish to withdraw
If you receive the Intention to Withdraw from York St John University email and do not wish to withdraw from your course, you will have 10 days to confirm this by replying to the email. Once you have replied to the email, the Student Records team will make a note of this on your record. They will also advise the PASS team to arrange a stage 4 Support to Study meeting. If you do not respond to the email within 10 days, you will have an enforced withdrawal and will receive an email confirming that you have been withdrawn from studies.
