Once your programme begins, you will be assigned a Work-Based Learning Tutor (WBLT) who will support you throughout your apprenticeship. You will also receive their direct email address, so you can easily get in touch.
Your WBLT will work closely with your academic team to monitor:
- your engagement
- your 20% off-the-job learning, and
- how you are developing your Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) in line with your apprenticeship standard.
They will also meet with you and your line manager, and/or workplace mentor, every quarter in a tripartite meeting to review your progress and provide support.
If you are ever unsure who your WBLT is, or if your WBLT is out of the office and you have an urgent request, then please raise a case through the Student Hub online portal.
