Eligibility for university accommodation as a returning undergraduate student
So that we are able to guarantee accommodation for first year students, we can only allow a limited number of students to return to our accommodation after their first year of undergraduate study.
We will contact all students in our York St John University owned accommodation to let them know when we are accepting requests to return to our accommodation for the following academic year.
There are strict eligibility criteria that students must meet on to be able to request York St John University accommodation after their first year of undergraduate study which are:
- Requiring specific adapted rooms that cannot be found in the private sector.
- Care leavers or estranged students who do not have a guarantor.
- Students who have received the low-income scholarship from York St John University and do not have a guarantor.
